A crash left one person dead early in the morning on Pala Temecula Road at Aruba Road in the Oceanside area.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the fatality was reported at 5:52 a.m. via an automated traffic collision notification. Units were assigned at 5:54 a.m., with additional units assigned and enroute at 6:18 a.m. and 6:20 a.m. A tow request was cancelled at 6:18 a.m., and logs noted to hold off on the tow.
No details on lane closures or vehicle involvement were provided in the logs.
