A crash on State Route 18 at Mormon Springs in the Arrowhead area left one person dead Tuesday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the incident was reported at 6:54 a.m. A person was reported lying on the right-hand side of the roadway one minute later. A unit inquired about updates from fire personnel at 7:11 a.m.
Units were assigned starting at 7 a.m. and en route by 7:03 a.m.
The identities of those involved and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
