Late Monday night, a vehicle crashed into the center divider and rolled over on eastbound Interstate 10 west of Red Cloud Mine Road near mile marker 94 in the Indio area, leaving one person dead.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the crash was reported at 10:59 p.m. The vehicle collided with the center divider and rolled.
Logs show a tow truck was requested at 11:08 p.m. A towing company was notified at 11:23 p.m.
A CHP unit was assigned at 11:07 p.m., went en route at the same time and arrived at the scene at 11:35 p.m.
The identity of the person who died and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
