Late Monday night, a pedestrian was struck by two vehicles at East Olympic Boulevard and South Arizona Avenue in East Los Angeles, leaving one person dead.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the incident was reported at 11:01 p.m. A reporting party advised that the pedestrian was hit by two vehicles that possibly left the scene. Logs noted a male lying on the ground with multiple vehicles parked around the party. The call was transferred to Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Logs described suspect No. 1 as a white female adult wearing a white shirt and white pants, heavy set with long hair. Suspect No. 2 was described as a heavy set male wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
A female was reported running away from the vehicle.
A unit was assigned at 11:08 p.m., en route at 11:11 p.m. and at the scene at 11:11 p.m.
Identities and causes were not immediately available.
