A motorcyclist was pronounced dead after crashing into a pole early in the morning at Valley Ridge Avenue and Stocker Street in West Los Angeles.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the crash was reported at 2:21 a.m. as a motorcycle versus a pole. The Los Angeles County Fire Department called to request an estimated time of arrival at 2:30 a.m. and acknowledged the information at 2:31 a.m.
Units were assigned starting at 2:26 a.m., with one unit arriving at the scene at 2:40 a.m.
The identities of those involved and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
