A three-vehicle crash at South De Wolf Avenue and East Central Avenue in Fresno left one person dead Monday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the crash was reported at 3:29 p.m. and involved a brown Ford F-250, a Toyota Camry and a dark gray Toyota sedan. Logs noted the incident as a hit-and-run, with the suspect vehicle fleeing eastbound on Central Avenue. Emergency medical services were notified and responded with lights and sirens.
Two tow trucks were requested for vehicles blocking the intersection. One party was transported via ambulance to Community Regional Medical Center.
CHP units arrived on scene starting at 3:41 p.m. and cleared the area by 7:38 p.m.
Identities of those involved and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
