A Caltrans crew discovered a deceased person on eastbound Interstate 10 west of the Wildwood Rest Area in the San Bernardino area Tuesday afternoon, resulting in a death.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the incident was reported at 12:23 p.m. A log entry at 12:24 p.m. stated that the Caltrans crew found the deceased person on the right shoulder.
No details on lane closures or involved vehicles were available in the logs.
The identity of the person and the cause of death were not immediately available.
