A crash on State Route 110 southbound at West 6th Street in central Los Angeles left one person dead Wednesday morning.
California Highway Patrol dispatch logs reported the fatality at 10:33 a.m. The Los Angeles Police Department arrived on scene and conducted a traffic break. CHP logs also showed a request to Caltrans for a roadway closure.
Several CHP units were assigned starting at 10:36 a.m., with some en route by 10:41 a.m. and arriving at the scene by 10:50 a.m.
The identities of those involved and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
