Late Sunday night, a fatality occurred on Goferbroke Road near Placerville, leaving one person dead.
The incident was reported at 10:47 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs.
The logs indicated a vehicle overturned on a person.
Units were assigned and en route at 10:49 p.m.
A unit arrived at the scene at 11:29 p.m. and cleared it at 12:40 a.m.
