One Dead as Cadillac Escalade Overturns in Santa Fe Springs

A vehicle overturned in Santa Fe Springs early in the morning, leaving one person dead.

According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the incident was reported at 6:08 a.m. and involved a red Cadillac Escalade that overturned. A unit later reported it as a solo vehicle collision into a parked vehicle.

Logs show a tow truck was requested for an Acura, with On Star Towing and Recovery notified for the response. Another tow truck from Vernola’s Towing was also notified. A unit reported both sides of the roadway blocked.

Multiple units arrived at the scene starting at 6:18 a.m., with the last unit clearing at 8:39 a.m.

Identities of those involved and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
