A crash on Interstate 605 southbound at the Firestone Boulevard offramp in Santa Fe Springs left one person dead Monday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol dispatch logs reported the fatality at 12:10 p.m. The incident occurred on the left shoulder at the bottom of the ramp.
Identities and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
