A motorcycle crash at the intersection of Oak Avenue and Filbert Avenue in East Sacramento left one person dead late Monday night.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the incident was reported at 9:44 p.m. A reporting party advised that a motorcycle was involved in a near traffic collision and swerved to avoid being hit. A chaplain was notified at 10:05 p.m.
Units were assigned starting at 9:48 p.m. One unit arrived at the scene at 9:59 p.m., with additional units en route around 10 p.m.
