A crash on Interstate 5 northbound just south of Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles left one person dead early Friday morning.
California Highway Patrol dispatch logs reported the incident at 6:09 a.m. Logs indicated a female was in the slow lane and a trash truck was on scene blocking lanes. CHP notified the Los Angeles Fire Department.
CHP units arrived on scene at 6:18 a.m. and stopped all lanes. Officers diverted northbound traffic off at Glendale Boulevard.
