Late Monday night, a head-on collision at Morongo Trail and Seminole Drive in the San Gorgonio Pass area left one person dead.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the crash was reported at 9:33 p.m. The logs described a head-on traffic collision with a female injured and a traffic hazard in the roadway. The incident was transferred to Cal Fire at 9:35 p.m.
Units were assigned starting at 9:36 p.m., with the first unit arriving at the scene at 9:36 p.m. Additional units arrived by 9:43 p.m.
Identities of those involved and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
