Early Friday morning, a crash on northbound State Route 23 at the Tierra Rejada Road offramp in Moorpark left one person dead.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the incident was reported at 1:14 a.m.
One unit requested Caltrans for a hard closure of the offramp.
Dispatch notified the Los Angeles Department of Transportation.
Another unit was located on northbound State Route 23 just south of Tierra Rejada Road in lane 3.
A clarification requested Caltrans to shut down lane 3.
Units were assigned starting at 1:16 a.m., with some arriving at the scene by 1:22 a.m. and others by 1:27 a.m.
Identities of those involved and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
